Hello! I'm Claire, a Sussex artist and a passionate oil painter with an art college background and over 20 years of experience in painting with oils and other mediums. Based in Worthing, West Sussex, I work from my charming back garden art studio, where I find inspiration and peace to create my art.

Quality of materials
As a Sussex artist, I use professional brands and oils used for creating your portraits. This ensures quality in the colours and detailing, and a lasting artwork that will not fade or deteriorate over time. I find oil paints are best personally for capturing fine details, and depicting the subtle changes in colour needed to capture a coat with many shades and tones.
