Hello Claire, It's Rosie here. I just wanted to thank you so very much for the beautiful painting of Daisy and Bertie for my Special birthday, it is absolutely fabulous and I am over the moon with it. You have captured the very essence of them both and got the colouring and the features spot on. I really can't thank you enough. A LABOUR OF LOVE
Pet portraits are an immensely satisfying endeavour. I am well aware how much joy creating a pet portrait from a photo can bring to someone, and by using oils in a creative and innovative way. I find oil painting is the ideal medium for an animal portrait, because it allows me to capture the subtle changes of colour in fur, as well as giving wonderful accuracy in the eyes, where the essence of the pet can really be captured.
